who we are
The Church of God of Kalamazoo is a group of people who love God and live our lives to meet His approval. We are people whose lives have been transformed by God's mighty power and love. Our congregation is made up of individuals who have served God and the communnity in many facets. We have worked with youth, elderly and differently abled persons, as well as the Kalamazoo Mission and those who are unhoused.
Our Pastor is Walter W. Hall, Sr. He has been following God's will since 1979. He has been married to his wife, Alfreda, for over 40 years. Our Pastor and his wife moved to Kalamazoo in July 2020 to continue the work of the late Pastor William B. Johnson.

Our history
The late Elder William B. Johnson moved from Chicago, Ilinois in the 1980's to pastor The Church of God of Kalamazoo.
Under his leadership, the congregation flourished and committed themselves to comunity oureach. Pastor Johnson was a man full of the love of God. He and his wife (Rhoda) gave themselves to their local congregation and the Kalamazoo community.
Our mission
Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in deed. We are determined to tell of His message of love, salvation, and Grace within and without the four walls of our church building.
We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We believe that salvation is deliverance from sin. We believe in sanctification and holiness. It is our mission to be a reflection of God.
